Services
Within ADM (Mat) there are support organizations which offer testing, engineering, repair and logistics services to the Department of National Defence/Canadian Forces.
These pages have information on these organizations which is of interest primarily to those in the Department of National Defence and other government departments:
- The Technical Airworthiness Authority (TAA) regulates aspects of the design, manufacture, maintenance and material support of military aircraft and airborne equipment so that it flies safely.
- The Quality Engineering Test Establishment (QETE) is an engineering laboratory that investigates and advises on major equipment purchases, life cycle management and life extension.
- The Naval Engineering Test Establishment (NETE) tests and evaluates naval equipment and systems. Its services are available to the private sector.
- The Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE) conducts flight and ground testing on CF aircraft and evaluates new aircraft systems. Its services are available to industry and other armed services.
- The Logistics Liaison organization promotes and supports the exchange of logistical and technical information between DND and the United States from five locations in the US.
- 202 Workshop Depot repairs and modifies Canadian military equipment used mainly by the Canadian Army.
- The Logistics Branch Integrator provides communications, occupational management, doctrine, lessons learned, and training for the CF Logistics Branch.
