CFS St. John’s

There were 211 regular military, 56 reserve Class A, B, and C forces, and 47 civilian workers at CFS St. John’s at the end of March 2010.

Present Functions

The current functions of CFS St. John’s are to provide support to:

  • Lodger units
  • Visiting NATO and CF Ships
  • Cadet training

  • HMCS Avlon Sea Cadet Training Centre
  • Regional Cadet Support Unit (Atlantic) DET St. John’s
  • CF Naval Engineering School Halifax DET St. John’s
  • 1 Canadian Field Hospital DET St. John’s
