MOSID  00005 - Crewman (CRMN)

General Duties:

CRMN shall perform all duties related to:

  • operating gunnery on armoured fighting vehicles (AFV);
  • inspecting, operating and maintaining personal and support weapons, communication equipment and standard military pattern (SMP) vehicles;
  • using field craft and bush craft techniques;
  • participating in battle procedures; and
  • operating in an NBC environment.

CRMN work in the field environment in all kinds of weather.

6. Stoop, bend, or crawl under and climb on vehicles. X X X X X X
7. Supervise and direct personnel in combat or emergency conditions. X X X X X X

9. Cope with stress relating to completing numerous tasks in combat or emergencies for up to 12 hours. X X X X X X
