MOSID  00134 - Material Technician (MAT TECH)

General Duties:

MAT TECH shall perform duties related to

  • fabricating,
  • manufacturing,
  • operating,
  • maintaining,
  • inspecting,
  • testing,
  • diagnosing,
  • repairing and reconditioning by welding,
  • sheetmetal work,
  • machining,
  • autobody repair,
  • refinishing,
  • textile restoration and
  • carpentry

all types of vehicles and their ancillary items, and various combat support equipments. Work involves both fixed and field environments.
