MOSID  00373 – Aviation Physiology Technician (AV PHYS TECH)

General Duties:

The general duties and functions of the AV PHYS TECH are to support Air Operations and the Flight Safety program. They provide aviation physiology training for CAF and civilian personnel, and operate various aviation physiology simulators, including the hypobaric chamber.  In addition, AV PHYS TECHs at the Canadian Forces Environmental Medicine Establishment (CFEME) operate the human centrifuge, and assist the Flight Surgeon in the investigation of aircraft accidents and physiological incidents.
