JANUARY 2018

GATINEAU, Que – Captain Jean-Yves Matte – faces a standing court martial on one charge of disgraceful conduct, and two charges each of assault, abuse of a subordinate and conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline. Military Judge Commander Martin Pelletier is presiding over the trial, which begins on January 8, 2018.

COLD LAKE, AB – Corporal Gregory Newton faces one charge of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline. The charge arises out of incidents that allegedly occurred on November 15, 2016, at Cold Lake, Alberta. Military Judge Commander Sandra Sukstorf is presiding over the trial which begins on January 8, 2018.

HALIFAX, N.S. – Leading Seaman Marshall Smith– faces a standing court martial on two charges of possessing a controlled substance, and one charge each of trafficking a controlled substance, and improper storage, display, transportation of a firearm. Chief Military Colonel Judge Mario Dutil is presiding over the trial, which begins on January 9, 2018.

BORDEN, Ont – Corporal Clinton Gibbons - faces a standing court martial on one charge of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline. Military Judge Commander Sandra Sukstorf is presiding over the trial, which begins on January 15, 2018.

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – Captain Todd Bannister faces a standing court martial on nine charges: two charges of behaving in a disgraceful manner, six charges of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline, and one charge of neglect to the prejudice of good order and discipline. Military Judge Lieutenant-Colonel Louis-Vincent d’Auteuil is presiding over the trial, which begins on January 15, 2018.

SHILO, Man. – Sergeant W.C. Burton faces one charge of. The charge arises out of incidents that allegedly occurred on July 28, 2007 at the International Peacekeeping and Security Centre in Yavoriv, Ukraine. Chief Military Colonel Judge Mario Dutil is presiding over the trial, which begins on January 22, 2018.

FEBRUARY 2018

SHILO, Man. – Corporal Reid Gobin – faces a standing court martial on one charge of sexual assault. Military Judge Commander Sandra Sukstorf is presiding over the trial, which begins on February 1, 2018.

KINGSTON, Ont – Corporal David Parent – faces a standing court martial on two charges of uttering threats. Military Judge Commander Martin Pelletier is presiding over the trial, which begins on February 5, 2018.

MARCH 2018

HALIFAX, N.S. – Master Seaman Daniel Cooper – faces a standing court martial on one charge each of sexual assault, and ill-treatment of a subordinate. Military Judge Commander Sandra Sukstorf is presiding over the trial, which begins on March 7, 2018.

APRIL 2018

HALIFAX, N.S. – Ordinary Seaman Andreas Florian-Rodriguez – faces a standing court martial on one charge each of sexual assault, behaving in a disgraceful manner, assault, and two charges of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline. Military Judge Lieutenant-Colonel Louis-Vincent d’Auteuil  is presiding over the trial, which begins on April 9, 2018.

VICTORIA, B.C. – Leading Seaman Kenidson Derival – faces a standing court martial on two charges of absence without leave, and one charge each of wilfully making a false document, and uttering a false document. Chief Military Colonel Judge Mario Dutil is presiding over the trial, which begins on April 9, 2018

OROMONCTO, N.B. – 16 Apr – Sergeant Brent Hansen – faces a general court martial on one charge each of possessing child pornography, and conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline. Military Judge Commander Martin Pelletier is presiding over the trial, which begins on April 16, 2018.

JUNE 2018

EDMONTON, AB. Captain Steven Nordstrom faces a standing court martial on one charge of sexual assault and one charge of assault. Military Judge Commander Martin Pelletier is presiding over the trial, which begins on June 8, 2018.

HALIFAX, N.S. – Sergeant Kevin MacIntyre faces a general court martial on one charge of sexual assault. Military Judge Commander Martin Pelletier is presiding over the trial, which begins on June 18, 2018.
