Acquiring Surplus Equipment from DND

Directorate Disposal, Sales, Artefacts and Loans (DDSAL) is responsible for the disposal of surplus assets on behalf of the Department of National Defence and Canadian Armed Forces (DND/CAF). This includes the management of all departmental major weapon and support system disposal projects, creating and updating disposal policy and guidance documents, as well as providing advice on the disposal of assets at all monetary thresholds and levels of complexity. 

DDSAL strives to manage disposal in a manner that provides best value to the Crown, supports public safety and protects the environment, while also preserving the history and heritage of military assets.
