CC-138 Twin Otter Life Extension Project

Replace Existing Systems with Newer or Different System

Objective

This project will extend the life of the CC-138 Twin Otter beyond 2018, ensuring a continued Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) light transport capability in the Far North.

Requirements

As the first of four CC-138 Twin Otters will reach end of life by Nov 2017, a life extension project to extend the ELE to at least 2025 must begin to replace key components of the aircraft. The project will replace CC-138 Wings.
