Requirements

The new CBRND ensemble will be composed of protective clothing, respirators, filter cannisters and ancilliary equipment. The ensemble must provide reduced weight, improved aircrew comfort and ease to operate within constricted cockpit environments. As rotary wing aircrew operate in close proximity to friendly forces, the new system must provide sufficient protection for aircrew to continue expeditionary operations in the future CBRND environment.
