Operational Clothing and Footwear Consolidation Contract

Replace Existing Systems with Newer or Different System

The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) will implement a managed clothing solution for operational clothing, footwear, and personal equipment known as the Operational Clothing and Footwear Consolidated Contract (OCFC2). This modern procurement vehicle will reduce contract management overhead, reduce inventory management and distribution costs, and provide improved responsiveness and support to the CAF.

The OCFC2 will consolidate multiple existing stand-alone contracts for operational clothing, footwear, and personal equipment items into a single contract. This OCFC2 will be similar in nature to the consolidated contract already in place for CAF distinct environmental uniforms (DEU). For all items stipulated under the OCFC2, the prime vendor will be responsible for their acquisition as well as inventory and distribution management. The contract will include provisions for the development of a direct delivery system between the contractor and the individual military member for select items; and include a services component for the improvement and development of related items.
