Replace Existing Systems with Newer or Different System


This project will replace the in-service Clothe the Soldier (CTS) Small Pack, Rucksack and Waterproof Compression Stuff Sac systems. To provide a mechanism to allow development and fielding of a Modular Frame System and capability specific pack bags as required by special users.


This project will acquire a new modular pack system to include a modular frame that is rapidly adjustable and compatible with and without body armor. A patrol pack, capability specific pack bags for winter, hot climates and spcialty users such as snipers, communicators, medics and others to be determined, water proof pack liners ,a pouch to allow the carriage of the CRBN Individual Protective Ensemble with all modular packs and sleeping bag compression stuff sacks.
