Replace Existing Systems with Newer or Different System

Objective

This project will improve the soldier's ability to operate in reducing visibility conditions while reduce operator payload leveraging next generation technology.

Requirements

This project will address upcoming capability gaps in our current CAF Night Vision Equipment Fleet for 2021 and beyond for thermal imagers, I2 tubes, and laser range finders / laser designators. Higher resolution, and advanced leaps in technology that are available now will be captured under this project IOT ensure that our soldiers in combat maintain their advantage of being able to operate in night conditions.
