In-Service Support

The Lightweight Towed Howitzer (LWTH) In-Service Support Contract (ISSC) will provide long-term support for the 155 mm M777C1 Field Artillery Gun.

The Project Management Office for the LWTH is examining the long-term sustainment strategy to sustain the fleet of thirty-seven 155 mm M777C1 Field Artillery Guns. The 155 mm M777C1 Field Artillery Gun is comprised of two major systems: the M777 Artillery Gun, and the Digital Gun Management System (DGMS). The DGMS is further divided into several individual components that together enable the digitization of the 155 mm M777C1 Field Artillery Gun.

The intended services that will be contracted through the LWTH ISSC include the following: repair and overhaul, spare parts management, configuration management, integrated logistics support, and technical investigation and engineering services.
