In-Service Support


This contract will provide the Canadian Armed Forces with in-service and deployment support capabilities for the Armoured Heavy Support Vehicles System (AHSVS) suite. The majority of this equipment is currently under storage and awaiting deployment while a small subset is utilized as a training fleet.


To provide in-service and deployment support, including repair and overhaul, engineering and logistics support and spare parts for the AHSVS. The AHSVS capability is composed of several variants: Cargo, Cargo Gun Tractor, Pallet Loading System, Recovery, Tractor 24t, Heavy Mobile Repair Truck, and Flat Deck Recovery Systems Tractor 13t. There are also three configurations of trailers supporting the fleet: Armoured Troop Transport Containers (Personnel Pods); Tank Recovery/Transport Trailer and a Recovery Trailer. The procurement strategy is likely to be impacted by Intellectual Property rights.
