General service standards

A service standard is a public commitment to a measurable level of performance that clients can expect under normal circumstances. The Department of National Defence (DND) has established services standards for all of its transfer payment programs.*

DND is committed to adhering to the following transfer payment service standards:

  • Acknowledging the receipt of a funding request: 7 calendar days
  • Communicating a funding decision after receiving a completed application: 21 calendar days
  • Issuing a payment following receipt of all required documentation: 60 calendar days

For more information about DND service standards, or to discuss any concerns you may have, please contact the program manager.
