Elisabeth Rybak – Biography

Currently with Novagrowth, Elisabeth Rybak specializes in tech strategy, innovation, and commercialization, offering consulting services as well as custom workshops to entrepreneurs and other participants the local tech industry.

Previously Elisabeth was co-CEO of TrustMe Security Inc., a venture she co-founded with Brian Flood, former CEO of Q1 Labs Inc. TrustMe offers a platform that developers may use to incorporate authentication, trusted relationships and secure communication to online communication platforms such as email, social networks (Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, etc.), eCommerce, instant messaging and VoIP.

Elisabeth Rybak was co-founder and CEO of Whitehill Technologies, Inc. Canada’s 5th largest privately held software company. At Whitehill, Elisabeth was responsible for the overall strategic direction of the firm, recruiting a world-class executive team and positioning the company for aggressive growth. Specializing in early business strategy and innovation, Elisabeth has lead international teams to investigate and advise on commercialization opportunities for privately financed R&D initiatives.

Recently, Elisabeth has been named Provincial Chair of the Canadian Forces Liaison Council: a group of Canadian business people who volunteer their time and effort to promote the Reserve Force. They believe in the “Profitable Partnership” and the advantages employers can gain by recognizing the valuable training that Reservists undertake.
