Message from the Director of Health Services Reserve

Welcome to the Canadian Forces (CF) Health Services Reserve (H Svcs Res) website. The H Svcs Res has a vital role to play in the domestic and international operations of the CF. In fulfilling its many roles; the H Svcs Res must also overcome many challenges. One of its greatest challenges lies in finding its "voice", that is to say, the means and opportunity for each and every member of the H Svcs Res to remain aware and actively participate in the progressive evolution of the H Svcs Res as a valued capability within Canada's military.

Given the dispersion of the H Svcs Res, both geographically and organizationally, leveraging the use of internet-based technology has the greatest potential for success in promoting and supporting communication generally, and informed decision making specifically. This website will allow us to communicate in all directions: vertically, horizontally and laterally using a common platform that is responsive and accessible to all either at work or at home.
