Welcome to the JAG Alumni portion of the JAG Website. The JAG Alumni, as the name implies, is the collective identifier of former Regular and Reserve Force legal officers, military and civilian court reporters, CF members and civilians who have served or been employed in the Office of the Canadian Forces JAG in Canada and abroad. To the extent there is an organization, it follows that of the JAG Office (old habits die hard) and is regional in nature and scope. Its existence keeps an alumnus connected with fellow alumni and the JAG community.
Mission: The JAG Alumni mission is to facilitate and enable a lifelong partnership and commitment of current and future alumni to the CF and the Office of the JAG.
Building on the traditions and history of the Canadian Forces Legal Branch and the Office of the JAG, the Alumni:
Being associated with the JAG Alumni is a great way to stay connected or reconnect with Branch and Office friends and colleagues as well as maintain currency or get caught up with the activities of colleagues. You can get in touch with the JAG Alumni by completing and submitting the “Keep-in-Touch” form set out in the link, below.
The JAG Alumni Communiqué is the vehicle used to disseminate information to the Alumni. You are invited to keep current by checking the links below for the latest volume of the news or to check issues from the past.
