Veteran’s Week 2009 Canada Remembers

Request a CF Speaker

Canadian Forces members are available to speak at schools and community events this Veterans’ Week. Find out how to invite a CF speaker to your event.

Each year, Canada marks Veterans’ Week from November 5 to 11 to honour and remember those who served our country, and recognize those who serve today.

National Defence offers a National Speaker Program to connect currently serving Canadian Forces members with Canadians during Veterans’ Week. Presentations last fifteen minutes and are typically followed by a question period.

This video pays tribute and commemorates the sacrifices of men and women who gave selflessly of themselves so that we might enjoy the freedoms we do today. Freedoms that our Canadian Forces still vigorously strive to uphold to this day.
