Hello Troops,
I occurred to me yesterday that being a soldier is basically a 24 hr a day, 7 day a week job. You live your life in service of Canadians, and make tremendous sacrifices both in Canada and overseas. My sincere gratitude to you all. Be safe! MaryJennifer McDonald - 3/16/2010 [16:23]

It takes a special person to be a soldier. You chose to risk your life for the safety of all of us, for Canada. How does anyone say thank you for all the sacrifices’ you and your families make to ensure my family and Canadian families are safe. There are no words to express what we owe our soldiers for their sacrifices, courage and pride in our country.
A few years ago a dear friend of mine made the choice to become a soldier; I don’t remember being more proud or in awe of anyone in my life.
My family thanks you, prays for you, believes in you and will not take your sacrifices for granted. We wish you all a safe return home to your loved ones now and all future travels.

Dear soldier,
I really appreciate what you are doing for me and this country. My goal someday is to become a military police. I want to protect my country just like you are doing every single day. You and all other soldiers are inspirational to me and many other people across Canada. If I could chose any body to hang around for a day. I think I would chose a soldier. Thanks for doing what you are doing!!

Our Canadian soldiers, rise to every task, they are given, and, they conquer all of them. During WW11, Canadian soldiers, were top notch. They were given tasks, that other country's failed, and they won them. Canadian soldiers, were really the troops, that liberated Italy. They also liberated Holland. The Dutch people were so angry, that other country's, took the glory, for their liberation. Years ago, I had an after school job, as a waitress. I was chatting to a Dutch couple, and mentioned, my brother was in Holland, during the war. He startled me, he jumped up and grabbed, both of my hands. Holland, cherished our soldiers, and they are friends, of, Canada, for evermore. You soldiers in the east, have a very tough and dangerous job. It takes a special kind of person, to be a soldier. However, you Canadian soldiers, always shine through. And, I always, have known that, you would.
Please, keep safe, and remember how much you are appreciated.

Just went to a sugar shack in Rigaud and wished you all could be there to taste the maple sirop and the "tire" (maple sirop on snow). Crazy warm weather still here in Montreal, but it will rain on the St. Pat's parade unfortunately.
The "top of the morning" to you and may you see many rainbows.
Bonne chance et bon courage!
