Veterans' Week – Request a CF Speaker

veterans' week 2008Throughout Veterans’ Week, commemorative events and activities are held in communities and schools all across Canada to remember our Veterans.

National Defence coordinates a National Speaker Program that connects currently serving Canadian Forces members with the public during Veterans’ Week. Presentations typically last twenty minutes, and are followed by a question period. A slide-show with relevant images can be added.

CF members have first-hand experience at serving their country and enjoy speaking to the public. Last year, CF members reached over 330,000 Canadians during Veterans’ Week.

Request a Canadian Forces speaker for your Veterans’ Week event by contacting your local National Defence Public Affairs Office by telephone, or by filling out the online form below.

VW Speakers will be matched with host organizations depending on availability. Requests for specific CF members will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
