Department of National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces Architecture Framework (DNDAF)
The DND/CF Architecture Framework (DNDAF) is the prescribed standard for use in all DND/CF architecture activities. The three volumes of the DNDAF specify a detailed approach and a set of supporting tools for developing and maintaining the DND/CF Enterprise Architecture (EA). The DNDAF will also provide the basis for DND EA life-cycle management including the governance, design, building, analysis and change management of EA. The DNDAF is a living document and will evolve in detail and rigour over time.
The DNDAF is organized into three volumes. Access to the DNDAF may be requested through General Inquiries:
Volume 1: Overview and Definitions
Volume 2: DND/CF Views and Sub-views
Volume 3: Department of National Defence/Canadian Armed Forces Architecture Data Model (DADM)
